Water Soluble Tapes
Bertech Water Soluble Tapes are made from a poly-vinyl alcohol (PVA) backing with a synthetic water soluble adhesive. They are designed to mask gold fingers on printed circuit boards during wave soldering. There is no adhesive residue after removal of the tape. They have a low static charge upon liner release and when taping the board. Humidity extremes do not affect tape properties. They also eliminate paint and primer flaking. Water soluble tapes are designed to be used for temporary masking purposes. They are packaged in 36 yard-long rolls with a kraft paper liner on a 3 inch polyethylene core.
Custom sizes are available upon request.
