Bertech Solder Wave Tapes, also known as high temperature masking tapes, are made from crepe paper with rubber adhesive that can be removed cleanly without leaving any residue. They are designed to withstand molten solder for 5-8 seconds at 500° F. Applicable for general purpose masking, heat insulation, high temperature painting, wave soldering during circuit board assembly, masking of metal, plastic and rubber surfaces where staining is a problem, high temperature holding and splicing. These solder wave tapes are ideal for use in the wave soldering process to mask sensitive components and high temperature paint operations. The tapes also eliminate paint and primer flaking. They are packaged in 60 yard-long rolls on a 3 inch core. They are available in widths of up to 28 inches.
Custom sizes are available upon request.
